Folding Electric City Bicycle Concept
The bicycle and all parts were modeled and assembled on SolidWorks. The design I chose is based on the BMW i-Pedelec Concept bicycle. The chosen material for the manufacture of the frame would be Aluminium 6061 due to the properties being suited to the application. The frame parts would be hydro-formed due to the complex shapes required. All other parts would have to be sourced from elsewhere, including the handlebars. All parts would be assembled by hand to maintain quality.
